Everti: (Latin) - conquer, overcome by force

Everti is a registered trademark.

In April of 2005 we had a situation arise where we had to change our name from Epic Bicycles. This was a definitely a surprise for us. Due to the legal issues with the name Epic we chose to change our name to Everti Bicycles. This new name works well as we wanted a new name to convey the sense that titanium lasts forever, plus the Latin origin which means to overcome and conquer.

Since that minor interruption to our business we have been working harder than ever to bring new innovative offerings to the market. If you have been watching our progress you will agree that our line of titanium bikes is among the best on the market today in straight-forward, practical designs.

Over the years we have used the services of out of house frame builders who have a proven record for the highest quality titanium frames in the industry. By having our frame manufacturing out-sourced we are left with more time to refine the designs, test and even spend some time with family! If we were to do the frame building here in Duncan the cost would go up by at least 50%, the number of frames we could produce would go down and we could not offer the great tubing shapes we have available now. Our frames are built for us by the best titanium manufacturer in Taiwan. We could have chosen a builder in China but then we would not have the quality product we have now.

As the founder of Everti Bicycles I bring years of racing experience and a true passion for bicycles. I first started racing bikes (BMX) in the 1980's and progressed quickly to mountain biking. Back in the late 1980's I attended school with Roland Green, former world mtb champion and we raced against each other as juniors. He got fast and turned pro and I realized I would never be a professional so I decided to just have fun with my racing.

Over the years I have tried just about every aspect of competitive cycling. I still compete but now it is just for fun.

With this background I have gained the understanding of how bikes should be designed for their given purpose. This is how I translate people's dream bikes into reality.

Everti History

In October of 2000 I established Everti Bicycles out of the frustration I had as a customer purchasing titanium bikes offered by other brands. I wanted my business to offer the service and product customers expect for their hard earned money. I think we have stayed on course quite well with this objective.

I base our designs and business principals on a no nonsense approach. You won’t find any silly acronyms for crazy tube shapes or other irrelevant hype here.

Take your time to look at the information we have provided for you here. The more you know about us, the better.
