Hi Kurt
I bought an Odyssey frame from you just over 12 months ago.
I’ve been in love with cycling for around 25 years now and I’m lucky enough to have a fair few bikes in my cellar, including a couple of carbon ‘super bikes’ and a big name Ti road bike. I ride quite a lot but I suppose no single bike generally gets ridden all that often.
However, this Autumn (Fall!), I’ve ended up riding my Odyssey more and more around
the back roads and dirt tracks of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales (home of the famous

Hi Kurt,
I have to tell you what it’s been like to ride my beautiful new Everti.
When it arrived and people asked me how my (much anticipated) new bike was, all I could do was grin like a fool and say things like ‘hmm, oh …like velvet…’ After the first few pleasurable weeks of riding, my responses were more along the lines of: ‘Who knew hill repeats could be fun!’, and ‘I can’t wait to tour on it!’
This bike is just so easy to ride; it’s smooth and responsive. And, either my Ti Fighter handles better than my old bikes on fast downhills and packed gravel, or I’m suddenly a better rider. I love the ti forks, and resting my eyes on that cool titanium sheen doesn’t hurt my feelings!
You went the extra mile to see that it was set up perfectly for me -
My husband says I am so in love with my Everti it’s just as well we met before I got the bike. I reassure him by telling him that I do think of him when I ride.
With gratitude for my dream bike,

Kurt,
Saturday, September 6, I finished my third LOTOJA (Logan Utah to Jackson Hole Wyoming) bike race. The race is 206 miles and we ride over three mountain passes (7,500, 7,000 and 7,900 feet respectively). The bike performed flawlessly. The RED components worked great, the fulcrum wheels were rock solid. You are right when you state the handling on descents is solid. I went down 7 & 8% grades at 50mph with extremely smooth control! My Cannondale was twitchy on descents.
Kurt, I am so very happy I researched titanium bike and stumbled onto your web site. The bike helped my overcome 170 miles of head and cross winds during the race. I lowered my personal best time by 53 minutes! Thanks again for all your time and help getting an Everti bike.

Hi Kurt,
Since I last emailed I have built the bike up and have been out on some big 2 Hour plus rides around the Wellington trails. The bike is excellent!! Handles like a dream and climbs like a rocket, I hopped back on my aluminum hard tail just to check I wasn’t kidding myself and it is just so harsh by comparison.
I made the mistake of letting a couple of mates have a ride and struggled to get it back. They were very impressed to say the least. It may well be that you get a couple of requests from this neck of the woods in the future.
Thanks again for you help I will send some pics when summer finally kicks over here.

I purchased an Everti Phoenix in Summer of 2007, and I love it. The 3/2.5 Ti frame
is a great blend of performance and durability. The compact geometry fits me just
right, which is amazing since I didn't buy the bike in person. After putting some
good mileage in, I agree with Kurt that the frame is "plenty stiff" under hard acceleration
and cranking up hills. It hasn't let me down yet. Plus, it will last a lifetime.
Built
with SRAM Rival shifting, Velomax wheels, Look HSC 5 fork, and Thomson stem and seatpost.

Hi Kurt,
I have been riding my Everti Phoenix since June of this year.
The frame is light and stiff but is still comfortable. This is my first road frame with compact geometry and I have no problem adjusting to it. The fit is perfect for me.
The bike handles great around corners and is very agile. On the climbs the rear stays and seat stays seems to help transmit power but still remains comfortable. The oversized down tube really helps with the stiffness when you sprint. This is a great all round bike.
I built up the frame with an Ultegra grouppo, Mavic wheels, and Thomson seatpost.
Overall, I am pleased with this great product and wonderful support by Everti.
Thanks,

Hello Kurt,
I have had my Everti Phoenix since May 17 and am approaching 800 km.
All I can continue to say is “Wow!” This machine is nearly perfect for me. It is tight and stiff, transferring all the power to the drive train. Attacking, sprinting and climbing have more zip than previous bikes. Yet, it seems so comfortable. It’s an odd feeling at first, because from such stiffness I expected to be jarred and shaken. But no, it is stiff AND comfortable. A pleasure to ride… and ride fast!
Handling is precise too. I can easily tighten-

Kurt, thank you.
And yes, I love my bike. I been putting in 500+ miles a month and
this frame is great. Stable, stylish, comfortable, and everything is holding up well.
In fact, this is the only bike I ride now. I am considering selling my 2 other bikes.
I been telling my friends that I would buy definitely buy another frame from you
when the time comes. I was unsure about buying a frame without "test drive", but
in this case it has worked like a dream.
Kurt, I am very happy with your product.

Hi Kurt,
I've had a year of riding on my custom Team (curved rear stays) now. It has
definitely surpassed my expectations. A wonderful bike. It's agile handling makes
it fun to ride over rolling terrain, but it's precise and steady descending at speed.
It's simply the best climbing bike I've ridden period. No wasted effort, goes where
it is pointed up and around the switchbacks, very efficient on long grades. And the
RIDE! It just smoothes out the chatter from the harsh paving, but doesn't lose any
road feel. It's still comfortable 8 hours into the ride. Unfortunately it still won't
pedal itself
up the hills, nor will it wash itself. Otherwise, it has turned out
to be a simply great machine.
Thanks,

Kurt,
Joe Wessel here,
I have got the Eagle fit to me and I dropped 2 min 18 seconds
off my last year's time for the BC Time Trial Champs...and my heart rate was lower...and
I did a stage race the week before, and a TT and a Crit in the week leading up to
the BCTT Champs. And a dog jumped out and charged me and I had to brake hard, nearly
stop, then sprint when it was distracted. I didn't know TT bikes could also handle
so well in emergency situations. Friends of mine that have had Colnago Titanium bikes
have put in orders after seeing the welds on my Eagle. I don't let them touch it,
they only get to look.
Thanks so much. I didn't know a TT bike could be this comfortable,
responsive, a dream to stear, light, and just magnifico. I am saving my pennies for
a Road bike.
Seriously, the dog was a good 100 lb'er.
Sincerely, Joe Wessel,

Kurt,
So I have about 600 miles on my team/falcon and it rocks. I just wrapped up
my racing season and can honestly say my new ride was responsible for my best season
yet. The bike is smooth no matter if the road goes up, goes down, or just goes. Long

Hey Kurt!
I've had my Falcon built up for almost a month now, and in that time have pretty
much put it through the wringer... And I'm pleased to report that my new race rig
has performed EXCEPTIONALLY well. I have just done my first (training) race on it,
a crit this past Sunday in the Bay Area, CA. I have also done climbs in the Southern
Rockies of New Mexico, as well as in the mountains surrounding Los Angeles south
of Monterey in Watsonville. So... it's seen plenty of different terrains and disciplines,
and I feel like I can give an informed review. I'm really impressed with the versatility

Hi Kurt,
I finally got the bike assembled and took advantage of a break in the rain to take
a ride. First impression: this is a very nice bike, even better than I had hoped
for.
I really like this geometry with the 43 mm fork rake, responsive, but not twitchy.
The top tube and wheelbase combination allow for good positioning in and out of the
saddle. The bottom bracket on the Team is simply amazing. IT DOES NOT MOVE! Standing
on the pedals the bike just moves forward, no wind up at all. With the curved seatstays,
the ride is very nice. No extra play, but a little vertical compliance over pavement
cracks, and a nice muting of the chatter from chip seal pavement surfaces. I came
back from a two hour ride with the impression that I had just started out in terms
of wear and tear. Even though this was advertised as a race bike, with the curved
stays this is going to be a very nice bike for long distance rides. Fast, firm and
smooth describes it.
I was very pleased with the quality of the frame as delivered,
The machining work on bottom bracket and headset was great, assembly was easy. It
looks great too! It's looks are not quite conventional, but it is subtly hi tech,
and overall it looks well balanced with the flared down tube and curved stays.
In short, this bike turned out even better than I hoped for when I specified these
features. I'm definitely looking forward to putting in some miles once the weather
clears!

Hi Kurt,
Rode the frame for more than a week. I like it very much. I build the bike
at 16pounds flat with Campy record and a decent wheelset (tubulars, Nimble CW front
and Fly rear).
The power transfer is due to the downtube exceptional and the ride
is smooth. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the welds and that the
BB was faced and really ready to go.
Nice work!

Hi Kurt,
I purchased the 54cm Swift demo from you earlier this spring. I just wanted to let you know that all is well. I've got about 2000 miles on it now and am very pleased with it. I was afraid it might be too flexy for my weight, but have not noticed any flex. I did notice right away how smoothly it rode. I hit a little over 51mph descending one of the passes down here and the bike was quite stable. So, just wanted to say I'm very happy with the bike and the great service you gave me when I purchased it.
It's been a great pleasure to deal with you and your company.
Thanks again,

Hey Kurt
The frame is beautiful. More beautiful in the flesh than I could have imagined -
Everyone who's seen it thinks it's gorgeous. The welds are sweet. From Russia with
love? Where did your guys learn their welding skills? I love the downtube and the
slight curve of the seat stays. The sexiest bit on the bike is the Easton fork going
into the integrated headset in the headtube -
I'm in love.

When I finally decided to buy a titanium mountain bike frame I had three things in mind: quality, customer support and price. I consider the purchase of a titanium frame a lifetime investment, therefore I believe the demand for extraordinary craftsmanship and customer support is justified.
After comprehensive research and gathering information from different bike suppliers I started to become desperate. None of them could fulfill all my wishes and needs and at the same time suit my budget as well.
While searching the internet I discovered Everti Bicycles and made contact with Kurt Knock, manager of Everti Bicycles. Dealing with Kurt was a real pleasure. He helped me out in every possible way, not only in deciding which frame and size would suit me but also with the transport of the frame from Canada to Belgium. We discussed all options to finally conclude that the Everti TiRant would suit my purposes the best. I received the frame as planned (in less than two weeks!) and in perfect shape.
The frame is a piece of art, welds are impeccable and the finish is truly superb. Although I'm not a weight weenie I managed to keep the bike's total weight at about 10 kilograms, including some heavy gear such as the Magura HS33's.
The bike handles like a dream and I feel most confident while riding it, even on fast descents. It is so much more forgiving and comfortable than the aluminum bikes I was used to and it still amazes me how well the frame absorbs small bumps such as roots. I can stay in the saddle longer while I used to be "launched". This is the ultimate marathon machine!
Although I could easily buy a titanium frame in Belgium I decided to go for Everti. I don't regret the decision, it is nice to know there are still people who really care and have tremendous respect for their customers. Highly recommendable!

Dealing with Kurt Knock was a pleasure. He informed me always ahead of time with
prices quality of materials. His workmanship on my Everti was praised here by local
bike experts. I like the finished product a lot, it is one of the finest I have seen.
In addition all communication was done via internet and it was very easy to deal
with this company and Kurt.

In my quest for a titanium frame build to my needs and size, I came in contact with

After discussing my specific needs with Kurt Knock, I came to the conclusion that Everti was the only one that could make me a frame that would fit me perfect and suited my budget. We discussed my riding style and our experiences with previous frames and materials. Based upon this, Kurt Knock designed me a frame that would not only fit me as in size, but also as in riding style. This good contact between Everti and myself as a customer, resulted in a stunning frame, that has showed me more than I could have ever expected from a frame. After riding my Everti for some time now, I can tell that all the effort Everti took in building my frame has resulted in one of the best handling bikes I have ever ridden and is precisely build to my needs.
The bike does not only fit me perfect, it also rides stable at both high and low speeds, something that not all designs can. I can take corners faster than before with less braking, due to a perfect balance between the head tube angle, fork and overall wheelbase. On climbs the front end stay perfectly glued to the ground and on descents it remains perfect stable. I attribute this to the slightly longer top tube Everti uses in its frames. The frame has enough lateral stiffness to cope with high speed singletracks, yet remain comfortable enough for long harsh rides. This is what makes this Everti bike so unique!
‘Custom’ means customization in every possible way. This appealed in small details like getting customized decals for my frame. Yet it won’t ride harder or better with these, it shows the care from Everti for its customers. Add to this the competitive prizes, and you can be sure you make a good deal with a high performance titanium bike, made with superb craftsmanship and attention to detail.
